I am running for Durham School Board because as a proud DPS parent of 3, I want to bring transparency, care, and accountability to our public schools.

As an entrepreneur and governance leader, I am committed to whole-child wellness, strong budget oversight, and supporting educators—so every student can thrive.

The Vision

I am a proud DPS parent of three, a foster parent, and the founder of Express & Release Therapeutic Dance—a Durham-based organization that uses movement to support emotional expression, stress relief, and whole-person well-being.

My work with children, families, and educators has shown me how deeply student success is connected to feeling safe, supported, and understood.

Why am I running for School Board?

I’m running for Durham School Board because our district needs leadership that looks beyond the noise and focuses on what truly matters. Too often we react to crises without addressing their root causes.

I believe in listening deeply to students, families, and educators, and responding with thoughtful, holistic solutions that support the whole child, strengthen trust, and create lasting change across Durham Public Schools.
